The Steady Household operates https://thesteadyhousehold.co, an online store offering digital household planning and organisational products.
These Terms of Service govern purchases from our store and use of our website and digital products.
By placing an order, you agree to these Terms, subject to any rights you have under applicable law.
For assistance, contact steadyhousehold@gmail.com.

Our Family Emergency Planner contains 23 pages and is supplied in four formats:

Customers are responsible for ensuring they have compatible software or devices to open, edit or print the files.
Product contents and formats are described on the relevant product page.
3. Purchases and Delivery
Prices are displayed in the currency indicated at checkout. Applicable taxes and charges, if any, will be disclosed during checkout.
Payment is processed through the payment methods available on our website.
Following successful payment, digital files are ordinarily made available through a download link or purchase confirmation email.
If your purchase is not delivered or you experience difficulty accessing the files, contact steadyhousehold@gmail.com.
We reserve the right to investigate suspected fraudulent transactions and take appropriate action, subject to applicable law.
4. Personal-Use Licence
Upon purchasing a digital product, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the purchased files for your own household's organisational purposes.
You may:
- Download and save the purchased files.
- Complete, edit and print copies for your household.
- Make reasonable additional copies for the same household.
- Share completed copies, or working copies needed to prepare them, with trusted people assisting that household.
Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership of the intellectual-property rights in its underlying content or design.
5. Prohibited Redistribution and Commercial Exploitation
Except where expressly authorised in writing or permitted by law, you must not:
- Resell, sublicense or commercially redistribute the purchased digital files.
- Upload blank templates or substantially equivalent copies to marketplaces, file-sharing platforms or public websites.
- Offer the purchased files as your own digital product, template, bundle or giveaway.
- Reproduce or distribute the product for use by unrelated households or customers.
- Remove copyright notices or other rights information for the purpose of misrepresenting ownership.
These restrictions do not prevent the ordinary household use and trusted-person sharing expressly permitted in Section 4.
Unauthorised use may constitute a breach of these Terms and, where applicable, infringement of intellectual-property rights. We may pursue remedies available to us under applicable law.
6. Intellectual Property
The Steady Household's original branding, website content and original product contributions are protected to the extent provided by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Certain product materials may incorporate third-party content used under licence. Ownership of that underlying material remains with its respective rights holders.
Nothing in these Terms transfers intellectual-property ownership to customers or grants rights beyond the permitted uses described above.
7. Product Purpose and Limitations
Our products are organisational tools intended to help customers record and locate practical household information.
They are not substitutes for legal, financial, medical or other professional advice or documents.
In particular, the Family Emergency Planner does not create a will, power of attorney, healthcare directive or legal authority for another person to act.
Customers remain responsible for completing their records accurately, keeping them current and obtaining professional advice where appropriate.
8. Security and Sensitive Information
Customers are responsible for choosing appropriate methods to store and share their completed files.
Do not record passwords, PINs, recovery codes, device unlock codes or full payment-card details in the planner.
Only share completed household information with people you trust and who have an appropriate reason to receive it.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information collected through our website and customer communications.
9. Refunds and Consumer Rights
Because our products are digitally delivered, we generally do not provide voluntary change-of-mind refunds once files have been delivered or made available.
Our full policy is available at:
https://thesteadyhousehold.co/policies/refund-policy
Nothing in these Terms limits consumer guarantees, refund rights or other statutory protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Website Use
You agree not to use our website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes, interfere with its security or operation, or misuse its content.
We may take reasonable action against conduct that threatens the security or operation of our store.
11. Accuracy and Availability
We aim to ensure that product descriptions, prices and availability information are accurate.
If an error affects an order, we will contact the customer and provide an appropriate resolution consistent with applicable law.
We may update our website and products from time to time. Any material change affecting a completed purchase will be handled in accordance with the customer's legal and contractual rights.
12. Liability
We are responsible for meeting our obligations under applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, The Steady Household is not responsible for losses caused solely by a customer's unauthorised disclosure of completed planner files, misuse of the product or failure to maintain their own information.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our products, operations or legal requirements.
Updated Terms will be published on our website with a revised date.
Changes will not retroactively remove contractual or statutory rights arising from purchases already completed.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, except where mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise.
Customers retain any rights available under consumer protection laws applicable to their purchases.
